When someone has a sense of personal power, they are likely to experience life in a certain way. For one thing, they will feel powerful and know that they have an effect on their life.
As a result of this, they are not going to have a problem with saying no and asserting themselves. If they don’t want to do something, or if something is not right for them, they will make this clear. A Fulfilling Life Through being this way, they are also going to feel good about themselves – they will be in touch with their inherent value. To do something that they don’t want to do or to accept something that isn’t right is then not going to feel good. Another way of looking at this is that one will be their own best friend as opposed to their own worst enemy. And, by being on their own side and feeling capable, there will be no reason for them to tolerate a life that is not rewarding. One Area When it comes to their career, they could do something that fills them with energy; with this being something that they have done for a number of years. This is not to say that they won’t have ‘bad’ days, though. If this is not the case, it could show that they are studying and will soon embark on a career that is highly fulfilling. Perhaps what they were doing before no longer matched up with their values, hence why they had to make a change. Strong Connections The interactions that they have with the people in their life could typically be peaceful and harmonious. If there is something that they are not happy with, they could end up talking about it directly. This will come back to the fact that they will feel comfortable in their own skin and won’t have an issue with expressing themselves. Also, they won’t believe that other people are out to get them and that it is a case of dominate or be dominated. The Norm If they were to look back on their life, they may see that they have been this way for as long as they can remember. What they may do is credit their caregiver/s with playing a big part in how they experience life. Then again, they could look back on their life and see that there was a time when their life was very different. Due to how different it was, they may find it hard to connect with this period of their life. Another Scenario When someone doesn’t have a sense of personal power, it will be normal for them to feel powerless and as though they have no effect on their life. That is, of course, unless they have gone to the other extreme and are extremely controlling. With that consequence aside, one may be used to being walked over and experience power struggles on a regular basis. Instead of speaking up, they could let other people walk over them and end up behaving in a passive-aggressive manner. A Core Belief They could believe that other people want to control them and that there is nothing that they can do about this. Through having this outlook, they will probably see themselves as a victim and other people as perpetrators. Said another way, they will have what is often described as a ’victim consciousness’. Being this way is going to make it hard for them to feel good about themselves and they will most likely have low self-worth; that’s if they have any worth whatsoever. Two Areas Ergo, if they do have a career, and don’t just do something that pays the bills, each day could be filled with problems. They could feel violated on a daily basis and not feel appreciated. As for their relationships, they could spend time with people who are not right for them; that’s if these people are not abusive. There could be moments when they wonder if they even exist, thanks to how other people treat them and don’t respect them or their boundaries. What’s going on? One way of looking at this would be to say that the reason their life is like this is that they haven’t developed a sense of personal power. The part of their being that relates to this, their solar plexus, is likely to be undeveloped. When it comes to the chakra system, this will be the third chakra, and the colour for this one is yellow. This charka won’t be working as it should, with this playing a part why they have all these challenges. Back In Time What this may illustrate is that their childhood was a time when they experienced some kind of abuse and/or neglect. This would have meant that they were violated on a weekly, if not daily, basis and they wouldn’t have been able to do anything about what was happening. Furthermore, along with feeling completely powerless and helpless, they would have also experienced a fair amount of toxic shame and rage. So, instead of receiving what they needed to receive in order to develop a strong sense of self, they would have stayed in an undeveloped state and been loaded up with trauma. Awareness If one can relate to this, and they are ready to change their life, they may need to reach out for external support. This is something that can be provided by a therapist or healer.

It has been said that Covid-19 first started to have an impact at the start of December 2019, hence why there is a 19 in the name. This was in China and, for a number of weeks after this, most countries around the world carried on as normal.
However, as the weeks went by and it became clear that contagion was starting to spread, different measures were soon put into place to protect the citizenry and to save lives. For some countries, this has meant going on lockdown, while others have done their best to carry on as normal. Unprecedented Times If someone lives in a country that has been on lockdown, there is the chance that their life will have been radically different it how it was before. Unless their country is still on complete lockdown, they wouldn’t have been able to go to work or to go out much for a number of weeks. They won’t have committed a crime but it may have been as though they were under house arrest. As a result of this, they may have found that their mental and emotional health started to suffer. A Challenging Time If they were unable to work, they may have also noticed that it became harder for them to feel good about themselves. What this may have shown is that their sense of value is attached to what they do (externalised) as opposed to who they are (internalised). They could still feel bad about themselves, though, if they haven’t been able to go back to work. Out of their need to feel better about themselves, they could have a strong need to get back out into the world. A Gradual Transition Although people like this will be happy to get back out into the world, there are others that have a different outlook. Another phobia has even been created to describe someone who is reluctant to do so, with them being seen as having ‘coronaphobia'. Now, while it would be easy to label people like this as having an irrational fear of the Coronavirus, to say that it is an irrational fear would be irrational. For months now, the mainstream media and the government have been talking about this contagion. The Killer Virus So, it’s not as though this has been a small story and something that has rarely been spoken about. That’s in addition to the fact that so many people have been told to stay indoors and to stay two metres apart from others. From the very outset, this contagion was portrayed as something that would end up killing whoever caught the virus. With this in mind, why wouldn’t someone have a strong fear of the virus and be only too happy to stay indoors? A False Alarm As time has gone by and different experts have shared their findings, it has become clear that this virus is not what it was made out to be. According to Prof Dingwall, ‘Eighty per cent of the people who get this infection will never need to go near a hospital. The ones who do go to hospital because they are quite seriously ill most of them will come out alive - even those who go into intensive care.' If this is so, why have different governments around the world made out that this was something that would decimate humanity? Prevention is better than Cure One way of looking at this would be to say that the people in power didn’t know any better and did what they could to protect their fellow citizens. These people, after all, are there to serve and to protect. This is then no different to how a parent would do what they think is best for their child/children and, at times, they will get things wrong. The main thing is that some of the people up top have paid attention to new information and are now allowing certain things to slowly return to how they were before. Another Outlook What if different governments were not simply doing the best that they could and knew that this virus wasn’t as bad as it was made out to be? Let’s face it, these are people that have access to all kinds of experts and intel; they don’t work alone or come up with ideas out of thin air. If the virus is put to one side and the focus is purely on the impact of the virus, what becomes clear is that what has been taking place is like terrorism on steroids. What terrorism does is create a lot of fear but what it doesn’t do is make a large portion of the population stay inside. Other Similarities Furthermore, this is a time where people have been told to trade freedom for safety, to trust the experts in the know, and to believe everything their government comes out with. And once again, there is something ‘out there’ that people need to fight and to fear. What is going on is different, but it is yet another way to keep the citizenry in fear and to control them. The difference between terrorism and a virus when it comes to directing humanity down a certain path must be seen as being the difference between a making a fire with a flint and making one with a lighter; one is a thing of the path, the other is a thing of the future. Conclusion Ultimately, what this illustrates is how important it is to question the official narrative not to simply accept what the ‘experts’ say. This is, of course, a lot harder to do if the thinking part of someone’s brain is offline and they are operating out of the part of their brain that is focused on their survival.

Due to what is currently taking place in the world, it has meant that a lot of people have paid more attention to the mainstream media than usual. Additionally, there are those that have started to pay attention to this source again after having ignored it for so long.
As far as this source is concerned, this is going to be a good thing. For many years, more and more people have been turning their back on this source of information, so this will be a much-needed boost. Two Extremes Still, this is not to say that what is going on has benefited every mainstream news source. No, as there have been a number of media branches that have recently had to shut down. In a lot of cases, this has related to branches that focused on issues that typically wouldn’t have been covered by the main branch. The main source will still be in operation but the company behind it will have had to downsize in order to survive. The Clear Reason When it comes to why this source has been getting more views than usual, it could be said that this is primarily due to fear. Through feeling fearful and having the need to know what is going on in the world, someone will look towards this source to keep them informed. Bearing in mind that what is going on is radically different from what has taken place for a very long time, it is to be expected that the average person would be this way. As to how often they tune into this source, it could depend on a number of different factors. Effortless If they have a Smartphone, they will be able to find out about what is going on no matter where they are or what time it is. Essentially, they will have the mainstream media in their pocket. They may find that there are moments when they become so consumed by what is going on that certain areas of their life end up being neglected. Nonetheless, as a result of what is going on, this might not be seen as a problem. In The Know As far as they are concerned, behaving in this way could be seen as the only way for them to stay up to date with what is going in the world. Through reading so many articles and/or watching so many news broadcasts, they could believe that they have a good understanding of what is going on. Furthermore, they could wear a mask whenever they go out and use the right hand gel to clean their hands with too. In this regard, one will be doing the right thing by watching the news and living in the right way by taking the recommended precautions. Another Angle However, although paying attention to this news source as often as possible can appear to be the best thing to do, what if it isn’t? What if behaving in this way can actually do more harm than good? One response to this could be: how could paying attention to what is going on in the world be harmful? Surely, one is going to be in a better position if they are in the know as opposed to being totally ignorant? Business as Usual Naturally, being aware of what is going on is important, but can the mainstream media really be trusted to inform people? Someone doesn’t need to be much of a critical thinker to see that this source of information’s main priority is to define how people see the world and to keep them in state of fear. Therefore, while the point of focus might be different right now, it is yet another thing for people to fear. The contagion might not have anything to do with terrorism but people are still being terrorised. An Important Point With that aside, what needs to be taken into consideration is that one is not merely an observer of reality. Their thoughts, emotions and feelings, along with their beliefs, have an impact on their life. Also, what is taking place internally has an impact on their body and mind. Bruce Lipton, a cellular biologist, has talked about the effect that fear has on the mind and body. Undermined He has said that when someone is exposed to fear, their immune system is suppressed and blood leaves their vital organs. Their intelligence is also lowered – potentially becoming twenty-seven percent dumber - thanks to the blood being pulled away from the front of their brain (the frontal lobes) and being sent to the parts of their brain that are to do with their survival. What is clear here is that experiencing an endless amount of fear is not good for someone’s mind and body. And with what is going on, the last thing one will want is to have a compromised immune system. Conclusion To endlessly consume the mainstream media, and to experience a lot of fear in the process, will be similar to eating something that has poison inside. It can seem as though this is the right thing for one to do but it will be something that is weakening them. This is not to say that one should turn their back on this news source but it will be important for them to be mindful of the impact that it has on their wellbeing. What they can also do is to engage in things that will boost their immune system.

Oliver JR Cooper http://www.oliverjrcooper.co.uk The Media: Does The Mainstream Media Create The Impression That We Are Just Observers Of Reality?17/5/2020
If someone has ever been exposed to the mainstream media, which they most likely will have been if they are on this planet, they may realise that this source generally focuses on the same things. So, irrespective of whether they were to pay attention to this source now or if they were to think about what it was like in the past, the theme will be the same.
In general, there will be what is going on in their country, what is going on around the world, and what has been taking place in the sporting world. When it comes to the ‘real’ news, what is negative and not right about the world is what will typically be covered. A Gloomy Place With this in mind, if one always pays attention to his source, it is not going to be a surprise if they believe that the whole world is a mess. It won’t matter what the world is actually like as their view of the world will come from what this source says. How they see their world, along with what they believe about it, won’t have come from their own experiences; it will have been passed onto them. It might not have even occurred to them that what they are told is not the same as what is going on. The Ultimate Authority In the same way that they might accept everything that their Doctor says, they will accept most, if not all, of what this source comes out with. If they were to miss out on their daily dose of news, they could end up feeling anxious. It could be as if something bad will happen if they don’t stay up to date with what is going on in the world. What this is likely to show is that they are totally disconnected from their own inner guidance/wisdom, which is why they are dependent on other people to inform them. A Divided State Instead of having a good connection to their body, they can pretty much live in their head. If they do live in this way, what it can illustrate is that they are in a traumatised state. Thanks to what has happened throughout their adult life and during their early years, they will have left their body in order to survive. But while living in this way will stop them from being overwhelmed by the pain that is in their body, it will stop them from being able to operate as a whole human being. Part of It However, without even considering the trauma that they may have experienced throughout their life, being exposed to endless negativity from this source will have had a big impact on them. This source will have had an undermining effect on them and shutting down will have made it easier for them to consume this source of information. If, on the other hand, they were in tune with themselves and found it easy to feel, it would be a lot harder of them to do so. Not only would they feel bad, but they would see that simply viewing all this negativity doesn’t benefit them or anyone else. Another Element Anyway, in addition to all of the negativity that this source focuses on, it also creates the impression that human beings are just observers of what is going on in the world. In other words, there is all this negativity ‘out there’ and the average person is not playing a part in what is going on. There are then a fair amount of perpetrators on this planet, yet most people will be nothing more than powerless victims. If someone doesn’t end up feeling hopeless and helpless after being exposed to this source, they can end up being apathetic. The Solution Thus, due to the narrative that this source has created, the only way that the world will change is if certain people change. It will also be up to the government and other important figures to make the necessary changes. The average person is going to be like a powerless child, who is incapable of doing anything. And, of course, the more disempowered people are, the stronger the need will be to have powerful leaders. Going Deeper But although this source creates the impression that people are just observers of what is going on ‘out there’, what if this is nothing more than an illusion? If it is, it would mean that so many people have far more power than they believe and that they are not merely victims of outside forces. Still, this is not to say that the average person is consciously choosing to experience life as they are or that they want the world to be as it is. What needs to be understood here is that it is not just what is taking place in someone’s conscious mind that affects their life, and the planet as a whole; it is also what is taking place in their unconscious mind. The Big Deception Together with the mainstream media, the mind creates the impression that one is just an observer of their reality. What is taking place inside them is then not having an impact on what is taking place externally. In reality, one is not merely observing the external world and they are not separate from anyone or anything. Ergo, their own consciousness is shaping their own life and it is feeding into the collective consciousness. Conclusion What this demonstrates is how important it is for someone to deal with their own inner wounds as by doing this, they will change their own life and they will help to change the planet as a whole. Going within and healing inner wounds is not easy, but it is likely to do for more for the planet than simply trying to change what is going on ‘out there’. If they only try to change the outside world but don’t change themselves, the changes that they do make might not last and they can end up doing more harm than good. This is not something that they have to do all by themselves, support is available.

Oliver JR Cooper http://www.oliverjrcooper.co.uk
When the term ‘extreme views’ is mentioned, all kinds of things could enter someone’s mind. They could think about what they last heard from the mainstream media, or what they last heard from the alternative media.
Then again, their mind could give them clear examples of extreme views without them needing to think about anything they have heard about recently. This is not going to be a surprise considering the fact that, for many years now, a lot has been said about this topic. A Lot of Exposure Thanks to the amount of attention that this topic has received over the years, it can seem as though the world is full of people that have extreme views. One thing that played a part in this was undoubtedly the terrorist attack that took place in 2001. After this took place, the mainstream media told anyone who would listen that the attack was carried out by people who had extreme views. And based on what took place, it would be hard to deny that whoever it actually was who orchestrated and carried out the attack had extreme views. Other Examples However, if terrorism is put to one side, it doesn’t mean that one will struggle to think of other examples. What could also come to mind are the views that some people have when it comes to men and women. Someone like this can believe that all men/women are a certain way, and they may even believe that they need to be removed from the planet. But, if it doesn’t relate to a gender, it could relate to people that have a certain skin colour or who belong to a certain religion. One Conclusion When it comes to someone who has a view like this, or any other, it could be said say that they are full of hate. At times, there will be a lot of people that come to this conclusion; while at others, there will be fewer people that do. One reason for this is that in certain societies or parts of society, views like this will be accepted as the truth. It is then not that a view like this is extreme or hateful; it is just that these people are aware of ‘how things are’. Stepping Back If, for example, someone has been able to take a step back after being caught up in an extreme view, they could say something similar. When they were caught up in this view it might not have been seen as extreme, and if so many other people had the same view, why would it? To use an analogy: It would have been as though they had been exposed to a bad smell for a little while, only to forget that the bad smell was still around them. What would have stood out to someone who had only just come into contact with the smell would have been something that they were oblivious to. Dressed Up What also allows someone to live in denial over their own hate is the fact that they will have a mind that will allow them to rationalise their behaviour. They can end up coming up with all kinds of reasons that ‘prove’ they are right. This can take place through using statistics and recent stories that back up their view, whatever that may be. It won’t matter that their mind is constantly looking for that which it believes to be true, as it will be as though they are just observing what is going on ‘out there’. Stuck In a Loop Therefore, even if they were to acknowledge the hate that they have, they will be able to justify it. They will feel as they do because of what a certain group of people are doing ‘out there’, which is why they have every right to feel as they do. Unless they are able to question what they believe and to see how their external world is mirroring back what is taking place internally, there will be no reason for them to change. They will ‘just happen’ to become aware of statistics, news stories and conversations that validate what they believe. A Closer Look The big question is: why would someone experience life in this way? Firstly, if someone is focused on what is going on ‘out there’ and doesn’t have a strong connection to themselves (lacks self-awareness and self-knowledge), it could show that they have experienced trauma. The reason for this is that when someone experiences trauma their whole system can end up being overwhelmed, causing them to disconnect from their body. In addition to losing touch with how they feel, they can end up projecting how they feel into others. Back In Time This could be something that they have experienced during their adult life, or it could go back to what took place during their formative years. If it goes back to their formative years, it will mean that this took place when they were totally powerless and completely dependent on others. This may have been a time when they experienced some kind of abuse and/or neglect, with them being traumatised on a weekly, if not daily, basis. The years would have passed but how they felt during these moments would have stayed inside them. Replaying The Past Many years will have passed since that stage of their life, and they may now have a well-developed mind that will allow them to rationalise their behaviour and provide ‘evidence’, but as they haven’t dealt with what took place, it will continue to affect their life. The hate that they see ‘out there’ can be a reflection of the hate that is deep inside them – hate that they feel towards their own caregiver/s or whoever else it was who harmed them - that they haven’t dealt with. Trying to deal with the hate that is ‘out there’ will allow them to indirectly get revenge on the person or people who violated them. So, unless they deal with what is actually fuelling their behaviour and how they perceive the world, they will always need someone or something ‘out there’ to hate. Conclusion What this illustrates is the effect that early trauma can have on someone’s life when it is not dealt with. The experiences will be in the past but how they felt during that time will have stayed in their body. In addition to seeing the parts of themselves that they have disconnected from in others, how they feel will have created a resonance that causes them to have experiences that match up with how they feel. For this to change, they will need to develop self-awareness so that they can start to see how their inner world is affecting their outer world.

Oliver JR Cooper http://www.oliverjrcooper.co.uk Critical Thinking: Has Trauma Had An Effect On How The Physical Body Is Viewed In Today’s World?12/5/2020
Although a lot has changed over the years, it is not uncommon for the physical body to be seen as nothing more than a lump of meat. It is then an area that is not affected by what is taking place in someone’s internal world (their thoughts, emotions, feelings or beliefs) or what is taking place in their outer world.
Still, this doesn’t mean that stress is not widely seen as something that has a destructive effect on both the mind and body. Even so, it is often something that ends up being put to one side and not given the attention that it deserves. No Reason So while stress can be taken into consideration if someone is ill, what can be given even more attention is their DNA. If they have a serious illness, they could be told that it is due to their genetics. Therefore, they won’t have played a part in what is going on; it will just be that their being is faulty. In the same way that a machine will play up if a part is not right, their body will be playing up because something is not right. A Hopeless Place They could end up being told that this faulty part of them was passed down from one of their parents. If they wanted to know more, they might be told that one of their grandparents passed it onto their parents. As to why their ancestors would have this fault could be seen as being a mystery. Like their parents, they will be nothing more than a powerless victim, with the health being completely out of their hands. The Same Story If they were to end up feeling angry at their parents, it could be said that it won’t be much of a surprise. However, it won’t be as if these people chose to pass their ‘bad’ genes onto them. In addition to their health being out of their hands, they could also believe that how they experience life is also out of their hands. How they experience life won’t be due to their genetics, though, yet they will still have very little control. The Heart of the Matter So irrespective of whether it relates to how one experiences life – what their relationships are like, what their career is like and even how much money they have – or the state of their health, they are basically going to be nothing more than an observer. Therefore, if they are lucky, their life and their health will be good, but if they are not, it won’t be. Taking all this into account, when it comes to dealing with a physical problem, one of the best things for them to do will be to take something. By taking a pill for the rest of their life, the physical problem may end up being managed, if not corrected. The Disconnection If the body is seen as being nothing more than a lump of meat, it means that it is seen as being separate from the mind. What is taking place ‘up top’ is then not having an effect on what takes place ‘down below’. This outlook may well be the norm in today’s world, but that doesn’t mean that this outlook is the truth. The truth is that the mind is not separate from the body; this is nothing more than an illusion. A Closer Look Now, if someone was to go back in time and went to a certain part of the world, they would probably meet people who view the mind and body as one. But without even going back in time, there are going to be certain tribes, along with people in different parts of the world, who have this outlook. The question is: Why would so many people on this planet view the mind and body as being separate? One way of looking at this would be to say that a large part of humanity is traumatised, which is why so many people have this outlook. A Natural Consequence When someone experiences trauma, they can disconnect from their body, losing touch with how they feel in the process. This is not something that they will consciously choose to do, it will just happen to stop them from being overwhelmed by pain and to ensure their survival. There can be the trauma that someone has experienced in their adult life, during their childhood years, and what has been passed down from their ancestors. The outcome of this is that one will be disconnected from their body and life, seeing themselves as just an observer. The Outcome Someone can then be born into a society that is primarily made up of people that are disconnected from themselves and, thanks to what they go through as a child and the experiences that they end up having in society, they can help to sustain the current paradigm. The way for this to change will be for individuals to deal with their trauma and to reconnect to themselves. This is, of course, what has been happening for some time now, and one manifestation of this change in the consciousness of the planet was the discovery of something known as ‘epigenetics’. The basic gist of epigenetics is that in order for a gene to have an effect, there needs to be an internal or external trigger; said another way, one is a co-creator of their life as opposed to merely an observer of it. Two Parts When someone lives on the surface of themselves and is not connected to their body, they are generally not going to be aware of how they feel. Nonetheless, although they won’t have a strong connection to how they feel, how they feel will still have an impact on their body and how they experience life. One thing that the late Candace Pert (an American neuroscientist) said was that ‘the body is the unconscious mind’, while Dov Baron (the founder of Quantum Metta Psychology) has said that ‘the body is emotion made manifest’. What both of these outlooks demonstrate is that what is taking place in someone’s conscious and unconscious mind (their consciousness) has an impact on their physical reality – the unseen becomes the seen. Conclusion Taking all this into account, if someone believes that their body is separate from their mind, it could show that they are carrying trauma. Once they start to work through this trauma and to develop a better connection with their body, they will gradually let go of this view. The work that they do on themselves will also affect the collective consciousness, and as this changes, the world will also change. For the world ‘out there’ to change, then, people’s inner world has to change.

Oliver JR Cooper http://www.oliverjrcooper.co.uk
The new age movement is said to have exploded during the 1970s and, since then, it has continued to grow. When the term ‘new age’ is mentioned, it usually relates to different spiritual or religious beliefs and practices.
When it comes to these beliefs, they include the view that everything in the universe is connected and everything is made up of the same energy, different beings exist and will provide guidance, and that human beings have the power to create their own reality. As for the practices, these include yoga, meditation, astrology, reiki and chanting. A Number of Similarities Therefore, although someone might not feel a connection to a god in the sky if they are spiritual, they might feel a connection to something else. In addition, there can be certain things that they do each day. To someone like this, spirituality is going to be a far better fit and it won’t have all of the weight or the negative associations that are part of organised religion. While organised religion can feel restrictive, spirituality can feel liberating. The Same Story However, even though there appeared to be this mass awakening during the 1970s and there are now millions of people on the planet that could be seen as being part of this movement, some people have argued that not a lot has changed. According to this view, there are more people than ever for who are ‘awake’ and yet, it is pretty much business as usual. It can be hard to comprehend what is going on as if so many people are ‘awake’; surely the world should be different? How can there still be so much dysfunction in the world? Another Angle If someone has taken this stance, they may even believe that the new age movement didn’t just randomly grow in the 1970s. Instead, they could believe that there was a reason why this took place and it wasn’t purely due to the fact that people’s consciousness was changing. This could be seen as something that took place because the elites needed a new way to control the masses. So many people had turned their back on the old form of control – organised religion - and now they needed something else, something far more appealing. Pacifying the Masses In this case, the new age movement was there to keep people distracted and to make them more tolerant of what was going on around them. If this was the plan back then, it could be said that it’s still the plan now. A lot has changed since that time, though, and one example of this is that corporations now have rooms where people can meditate. On the surface, this can seem like a great idea and a sign that peoples wellbeing is being taken seriously. Looking Deeper Another way of looking at this would be to say that this is purely about making workers more productive, while not having to change anything. There is then no need to look into why they would be so stressed and actually make real changes. This is no different to how so many people are simply given drugs to handle their mental and emotional problems as opposed to real changes taking place in society. Again, it’s a case of treating the symptoms as opposed to the cause – people are seen as the problem, not the society that they live in. Back To the Main Point Thus, the new age movement was and still is something that can serve those that want to keep everything the same. With that aside, the big question is: how could so little change if so many people are ‘awake’? One way to look at this would be to say that being ‘awake’ is just an identity that so many people have created for themselves and that very few people in comparison do the work that is needed to actually be awake. Someone can then do all the ‘right’ things and have the ‘right’ image, but their inner world could be just as toxic as someone who appears to be ‘asleep’. The Spiritual Ego In other words, being ‘awake’ will just be a false-self their ego-mind has created that will enable them to avoid their own pain. This part of them, through having a dual nature, can give them the need to be seen as better and more ‘evolved’ than others. Social media, for instance, provides the ego-mind with a platform where it can prove how ‘spiritual’ and ‘evolved’ it is. Only when the dual nature of the ego-mind is put to one side is it possible to realise that there is no such thing as being better or more evolved – each person on this earth is simply on their own path. No More Running Another term that has been used to describe a lot of the practices and beliefs that are connected to the new age is ‘spiritual bypassing’. This illustrates how the ego-mind will hide behind any identity and use anything to avoid having to face pain. This doesn’t mean that the ego-mind is bad and needs to be ‘killed off’; it enables one to have their own experience on this earth and it simply wants to keep them alive. So, the defences that it utilises to keep pain at bay can cause a lot of harm, but that is not their intention. Awareness If so many people have created an identity that allows them to see themselves as being ‘awake’ but their body is filled with emotional baggage, it is not going to be a surprise if the world doesn’t really change. What is taking place at a deeper level will help to sustain what is taking place externally. For their resonance to really change, and for them to no longer support what is going on externally, they will need to deal with their inner wounds. This won’t be a time when it is all about ‘love and light’, far from it; there will be moments when it is the complete opposite.

In today’s world, and perhaps the world has been this way for most of human history, it is often believed that everything is separate. In other words, a lot of people only operate out of their five senses.
Therefore, even if something ‘bad’ happens that affects a lot of people, it won’t be as though they have played a part in what has taken place. They will be on the same planet but they will merely be a passive observer of what is going on. The Outlook Another way of looking at this would be to say that they will be being victimised by what is going on ‘out there’. Through being a victim, someone can end up feeling powerless, helpless and hopeless. This emotional experience could soon pass or it could just fade into the background, that’s if they have what is often described as a ‘victim mentality’. However, even if this does pass, if one believes that things just happen it is likely to mean that they will carry a fair amount of fear. Two Levels Someone can then believe that they are just victims of what is going on at a global level and what is taking place in their own life. As there is very little that they can do, it is going to be normal for them to look towards other people to look after them. What may appeal to them is to have a big government that will keep them safe and give them what they need. They may get what they want, but they are likely to lose far more than they gain. Going Deeper Now, while it is generally believed that human beings are just observers of reality, what if this is not actually true? What if they are playing a part in their own experience and the human experience as a whole? Upon hearing this, it would be easy to say that there is absolutely no truth to this. Firstly, why would someone want to create a miserable life for themselves, and secondly, why would human beings collectively create misery on earth? Two Parts Undoubtedly, it is highly unlikely that someone would consciously create a miserable life for themselves or to help to create misery on earth. But, while this will generally be the case, it doesn’t mean that they won’t unconsciously be doing this. To understand what is going on, it will be essential to understand that there are at least two parts to a human being. There is what is going on in their conscious mind and what is going on in their unconscious mind, with both parts having an effect on how they experience reality. The Hidden Part One way to look at the unconscious mind would be to say that it is the part of someone’s being that stores all of the inner content/material that they don’t want to face from their own life, and it can include ancestral and past life trauma. For example, they could experience a painful feeling and as it is too painful for them to face, they could soon push it down into their unconscious mind. It will then seem as though it has disappeared, but it will have simply been stored in their unconscious mind/body. Once it is here, it will have an impact on how they experience life. The Next Part Along with this, it will also have gone into the collective unconscious. What is taking place in someone’s conscious and unconscious mind will define what their field is like and what is going in their field will feed into the collective field. The collective field will be made up of all the material that is contained within each person’s individual field. Thus, what is going on ‘out there’ can be seen as a reflection of what is taking place in most people’s unconscious mind. A Massive Build-Up Naturally, if it was normal for people to deal with their inner material, there would naturally be less ‘negativity’ within their own unconscious and the collective unconscious. Yet, as a lot of people in the world rarely acknowledge that such a thing exists, let alone deal with its content, it is to be expected that a lot of people will be carrying a lot of inner ‘negativity’. What this means is that someone can be consciously doing all the right things to change the world, but if they are carrying a lot of ‘negativity’ deep within themselves, they can be feeding into the very thing that they are trying to change. Not to mention that they can be coming from a place of resistance and, as the saying goes, ‘what we resist is what will persist’. Self-Knowledge It could be said that this illustrates how important it is for someone to have an understanding of themselves, that’s if they want to change their own life and the world as a whole. This is not about one shaming or blaming themselves, or anyone else for that matter. It is about them becoming aware of what is taking place inside them and working through what comes up. This is not something that will take place in a weekend; it will probably be a lifelong process. Conclusion If most of humanity continues to focus on what is going on ‘out there’ and doesn’t bring their attention inward, it is unlikely that anything will change; in fact, it is likely to get even worse before it gets better. The situations and events ‘out there’ that are not wholesome can only stay in place for as long as the collective unconscious stays the way same. When it comes to working through inner wounds, the support of a therapist or a healer may be needed. There is also a lot of information online that goes into what someone can do to heal themselves.

As a result of the contagion that has had a big impact on numerous countries around the world, a lot has been said about what is going on. Like most events, there is not just one view of what is going on.
There are views floating around that can appear to be believable, while there are other views that can appear to have no basis in reality. If there was no such thing as an alternative media, there is a strong chance that more people would have the same view about what is going on. One Step Further Along with there being different views in regards to where the virus came from and whether it is manmade or not, there are a number of differences when it comes to why it exists. Some people believe that it has been designed by ‘the elites’ to depopulate the planet, others believe that it is nature’s way of getting her own back. If someone had time to spend and an open mind, they could easily spend weeks going over all the different views. Naturally, some of these views can seem more plausible than others, and the views that do seem more plausible can be those the mainstream media has been pushing. Moving On However, if what is going on right now is put to one side; it is not as though everything was fine before all this kicked off. Due to how disruptive this time has been, though, it can seem as though it was. The need for everything to turn back to normal, even though what was normal was just as destructive, has been strong. This is very similar to how someone can be in a relationship that is dysfunctional and once it ends, they can long to be with the other person again. The Reason It could be said that whether it relates to the need for a dysfunctional relationship to continue or for the planet to go back to how it was, it will be due to the ego-minds need to experience what is familiar. Part of the human experience involves having an ego, and this is not something that is bad, enough though it is often demonised. Its primary function is to keep someone alive. The trouble is that to the ego, what is familiar is what is safe, so anything that is not familiar is therefore seen as a threat to their survival. Holding On With this in mind, it makes sense as to why it can be so hard for someone to change their own life and why it can take so long for certain elements in society to change. Both individually and collectively, something ‘bad’ can need to happen in order for positive change to take place. When this happens, the right change won’t have taken place directly but something will have taken place that may allow it to take place indirectly. This will, of course, be more challenging to handle, but it can lead to the right outcome in the end. It Is Long Overdue When it comes to the planet as a whole, there is no doubt that a lot needs to change. One sentiment that has been expressed by a lot of people is that this contagion, as bad as it is, has given the planet a much-needed break. Furthermore, it has given so many people the chance to take a step back and to reflect on the direction that their life has been taking. If it wasn’t for this, there is a strong chance that so many people would have continued to live a life that wasn’t in alignment with their deepest values. Many, Many Problems As for what is not right about the planet, there are many things that will come to mind. There is how nature and animals are being treated, how certain countries treat other countries and how people in power treat their fellow citizens – the list goes on. Now, if these were all put to one side, what will become clear is that in each case they relate to what human beings are doing. Thus, it is not what this is being done by beings from another planet, for instance. The Big Question Why would someone treat another person, animal or the planet in an inhumane way? It would be easy to say this would take place because they are ‘bad’ or even ‘evil’, but does this really answer the question? This creates the impression that there are people that are ‘good’ and people that are ‘bad’, which is an outlook that comes from the minds dual nature. Would it not be more accurate to say that everyone on this planet is made up of both good and bad, with some people having more of one than the other? Going Deeper What can be the difference between someone acting in a ‘good’ way or acting in a ‘bad’ way is whether or not they are acting in a conscious manner. If they are not conscious and they do something, they can end up causing a lot of harm. When this takes place, they will be behaving like a programmed machine; they won’t have taken the time to think about why they are doing something. This could be something that takes place every now and then or it could be how they generally behave. The Reason Why is it that someone would just switch off and do something that is causing harm? One way of looking at this would be to say that this is something that will take place when someone dissociates from themselves. When this happens, they won’t be in touch with their feelings (they will lose their ability to empathise and to be compassionate) and they will no longer be in the present moment (they won’t be conscious). This is something that usually takes place when someone is in a lot of emotional pain and simply can’t face reality. A Vicious Circle Through being in a bad way, they will do things that cause harm. When this relates to causing harm to another person, the person that they harm can end up doing to another what was done to them. Ultimately, when someone is in a lot of pain, it is going to be very hard for them to behave like a conscious human being. They can cause harm at a local level and they could cause a lot of damage on a global scale too, but most of the damage that they cause will be due to the fact that they spend a lot of time walking around asleep. Conclusion When it comes to why someone would be in a lot of pain, there can be what has taken place in their adult life and what they experienced as a child. Additionally, there can be the trauma that was passed down from their ancestors. Taking this into account, for the world to really change, it will be necessary for individuals to deal with their own inner wounds, and, as this happens, the world as a whole will change. Unlike trying to change the world, this type of work probably won’t allow someone to receive any awards.

A number of years ago, the mainstream media, along with other sources, came out and said that ‘fake news’ was a problem. One way of looking at this would be to say that this was something that was said after certain things didn’t go as this source, and those behind the scenes, wanted.
Thus, it was not that this source was actually concerned that people would be misinformed; it was concerned that they would have the wrong information. A few of their agendas didn’t come to fruition and this wasn’t acceptable. The Perfect Example After this took place, it was said that this source had accused others of that which they are. In other words, this source is the king of fake news and they made out that other sources were the problem. This is basically the equivalent of one person accusing another person of being a liar, when they themselves are a compulsive liar. In the world of psychology, this is something that is known as ‘projection’. One Reason One way of looking at this would be to say that they were aware of what they were doing; it wasn’t something that took place by accident. Nonetheless, this was something that they had to do to protect their own image and to stay relevant. This is then very similar to how someone can use slander to try to destroy another person’s image, even though they themselves are the ones who have done something wrong. There is a popular psychological term for people like this, with there being many videos about them online. Another Reason Another way of looking at this would be to say that this source as a whole was not aware of how hypocritical they were being. Collectively, the insight that was needed wouldn’t have been there and this would have prevented them from being able to own their own projections (to look in the mirror). If this was the real reason, it could be said that it is not much of a surprise. After all, in order to work in the mainstream media, one of the qualities that are probably not high on the list is the ability to self-reflect. What Matters Perhaps the most important trait, when it comes to working for this source, is simply the ability to repeat what has been said. The ability to think critically, on the other hand, surely has to be one of the lowest traits on the list. If someone did have this ability, they would most likely need to put it to one side and to merely go along with what they are told to say. Ultimately, it will pay for someone to not have their own mind. Shining the Light What has helped to expose the lies that this source comes out with is the alternative media. Still, this doesn’t mean that this source of information only expresses what is actually going in the world. One saying that comes to mind here is, ‘the best way to control the opposition is to create it’. This reflects the view that the people that are behind the mainstream media are also behind a lot of the alternative media. Holes Everywhere With this in mind, someone can be deceived by what the mainstream media, and, if they were to turn their back on this source, they can be deceived by the alternative media. Therefore, it is not about ignoring one source and going along with what the other source says. If this does take place, and the sources that they pay attention to are ‘false opposition’, they are not going to be as informed as they think they are. What they know will be different from what a lot of other people know, but it won’t be any more accurate. Perception Is Reality Now, when it comes to the mainstream media, it can be easy for someone to believe that this source has all the power. When it comes to why they would come to this conclusion, they could think about how this source shapes what so many people believe and how they behave. This is because what this source feeds into these people’s mind ends up defining how they perceive reality. Someone like this won’t be plugged into a machine and having software downloaded into their being, but they may as well be. Stepping Away However, while it would be easy to see this source as the perpetrator and many of the people who view it as victims, it is not this black and white. Undoubtedly, if everyone stopped paying attention to it, it wouldn’t have any power whatsoever. If this was to take place, it would mean that more people will have taken their power back and not allowed themselves to be victimised by this source. They would realise that while they were being taken advantage of by this source before, it could only take place while they were giving them the permission to do so. The Key Element They will have only been able to change through becoming aware of what was going on and they will have only been taken advantage of as they were not aware of what was going on. This is why so much is done to keep as many people as possible asleep and divided. What this illustrates is that the media, and any other source out there that has a nefarious agenda, can only function as long as a certain amount of people are not aware of what is going on. Additionally, by having so many people resonate or vibrate at a certain frequency, it will help to sustain the ‘bad’ that is ‘out there’ and allow it to exist. Conclusion For the world to truly change, it is imperative that more and more people wake up to the part that they are playing in what is going on. This is not about someone blaming or shaming themselves, or others, though; it is simply about them looking into how their inner world is impacting their outer world and what is going on collectively. This will involve becoming aware of what is taking place in both their conscious and unconscious mind. Going within and facing inner wounds is not easy; it is far easier to focus on what is going on ‘out there’ and to try to change the world. The reason for this is that focusing on what is going on externally can allow someone to feel energised and allow them to receive a fair amount of approval. Going within, on the other hand, will be painful and it is unlikely to allow them to receive a lot of positive feedback.
