Critical Thinking: Is It Time For Humanity To Realise That They Are Co-Creators Of Their Reality?

At this point in time, it can seem as though the world is in a mess and that it will only get worse. As a result of what appears to be taking place, it can be normal for someone to feel helpless and hopeless.

When it comes to how they currently perceive the world, what can play a big part is what they are told by the mainstream media. In fact, this source could more or less define how they perceive reality.

Another Influence

What could also play a part is what their friends and family say to them directly and what they share online. Now, although this could be seen as another ‘source’ that influences them, this might not be very accurate.

The reason for this is that these people may also pay attention to the mainstream media and accept just about everything that they hear. Consequently, there will be one main source that influences how they perceive reality and the secondary source in their life will, in general, just repeat what the first source has said.

Pulling the Strings

One way of looking at this source of information would be to say that their primary goal is to inform people. They are then simply telling people about what is taking place in the world; nothing more, nothing less.

Nonetheless, what if it is not this black and white, and this source's main priority is to define how people perceive reality? If it is the latter, it would mean that this source has an incredible amount of power.

The Big Illusion

If someone, along with their fellow human beings, was just an observer of their reality and played no part in what is going on ‘out there’, it wouldn’t be possible for this source to influence them. However, as one is not merely an observer of their reality, it means that they can be ‘programmed’ to perceive reality in a certain way.

Not only this, what is taking place inside them will play a part in what is going on externally. This source of information is then going to be planting seeds in their consciousness and, as time passes, these seeds will grow into what they will perceive as ‘reality’.

Two Options

If one, along with their fellow human beings, were just observers of reality, this source wouldn’t be able to use their consciousness to create a certain type of reality on this earth. But, as one is a co-creator of their life, this source will be using their creative energy to bring their story to life.

What this means is that while one may see themselves as nothing more than a victim of circumstances, this couldn’t be further from the truth. They have at least two choices: either they can to be reactive and sustain this sources fear-based story, or they can decide to create a very different story, one that will help to create a very different story on this earth.

The First Step

For someone to even get to the point where they realise that they are not merely a passive observer of reality is an achievement. This is because they are likely to live in a society that is a reflection of ego-consciousness.

Thus, even if the above source of information was put to one side, through being strongly attached to their ego-mind, they will see themselves as being separate from everyone and everything. A natural outcome of this is that they won’t have much control over their own life or what happens ‘out there’.

The Second Step

Once they have taken the first step and can see that how their ego-mind, along with their eyes, cause them to see reality is an illusion, they will know that it is incredibly important for them to be careful of what they focus on and give their attention to. The creative energy that is held in their consciousness will co-create their own reality and play a part in what takes place on the planet.

If they were actually separate from everyone and everything this wouldn’t happen, but as this is an illusion, what is held in their own consciousness will feed into the collective consciousness. Nevertheless, while one is co-creating their life, what needs to be kept in mind is that most of what shows up is coming from their unconscious mind; in other words, a lot of it is not something that they are consciously manifesting.

Turning the Light On

This part of them will contain rejected parts of themselves, painful feelings and trauma, among other things. Their conscious mind will have lost touch with what is held in this part of them but this inner material will have an effect on the frequency that they are broadcasting, and therefore, will influence what they do or don’t experience.

The trouble, of course, is that when this part of someone’s being is not even acknowledged; it won’t be possible for them to see that what is going on ‘out there’ is a reflection of what is going on internally. They could believe that their inner world relates to what is taking place in their conscious mind, and this part of them could be full of positivity. 

Final Thoughts

Considering this, one will need to be mindful of what they focus on and give their attention to and they will need to deal with what is held in their unconscious mind. If the second part doesn’t take place, they are not going to be doing the inner work that will allow them to change their own and the collective consciousness.

Going within and facing the painful parts of oneself is not easy, but it is likely to be what will allow them to be the change that they want to see in the world. To undertake this process, one may need to reach out for external support.
