Many years ago, in 2006, the law of attraction came bursting onto the scene thanks to a documentary film. However, this law wasn’t new, it had been around for over a hundred years by name and the teachings themselves had been around for thousands of years.
So, although these teachings were presented as “the secret”, a lot of people already knew about them. But, of course, there were also a lot of people who knew nothing about these teachings and they had to present them in such a way that people would be drawn in.
One way of looking at this would be to say that there had been a shift in the collective consciousness, hence why so many people were exposed to these teachings. To go back one step, this shift also played a part in why the creator of this product had the idea in the first place.
It was then their creation/product but they were simply a conduit for something that a large part of humanity was calling out for. The marketing behind it was then important but it wasn’t what gave it its true power.
A Mixed Experience
As time has passed, more and more people have become aware of these teachings and surely, this will continue to take place. There are those who have been able to get great results, while there are others who haven’t.
If someone is in a position where they haven’t been able to get very far, they could wonder if they have any control over their life. For quite some time now, they may have been having “positive” thoughts and been spending a lot of time visualising.
Another Form of Repression
As part of this process, they may have also had the tendency to deny how they really feel. Nonetheless, if they believe that their thoughts create their feelings, there will be no reason for them to be aware of this.
Instead, they can believe that through changing how they think, their “negative” feelings will merely disappear. In reality, this is a half-truth; the other part of this is that their thoughts can simply trigger, and be the result of, how they feel.
What this illustrates is that when it comes to the manifestation process, there is the mental part and there is the emotional part. If one has the right thoughts but their feelings are not in alignment, or even if they force themselves to feel a certain way, they will be sending out a mixed message to the universe.
The outcome of this is that they won’t get anything back or they will get more of what they don’t want. Considering this, it will be essential for one to have both of these components in place, and, to believe that they are deserving of having whatever it is that they want.
It has been said that someone doesn’t attract want they want, they attract what they are. This is why trying to attract something is not the answer; they need to be that which they want to experience in their physical reality.
The law of resonance, a quantum physics law, says that human beings are made up of vibrating energy. Thus, in order for someone to experience something externally, they need to be vibrating at the same frequency internally.
Through vibrating at the right frequency, they come into sympathetic resonance with what they want. Once this takes place, what they want will want them as much as they want it.
This can allow them to effortlessly draw in what it is what they want. At the same time, there may be certain actions that they need to take, but this won’t be a time of struggle and strain.
What this means, then, is that they, like everyone else, are a walking artist; they are constantly co-creating their reality. Their reality is the canvas, their thoughts, emotions, feelings and beliefs are the paints and their consciousness is the paintbrush.
Still, this doesn’t mean that this is always a conscious process as most of what they create will be coming from their unconscious mind. This is why it can seem as though someone or something ‘out there’ is in control of their life.
Taking all this into account, if someone has found it hard to manifest what it is that they desire, it will be a good idea for them to look into how they really feel, what they believe, if they have a sense of deserving in place and if they are taking inspired action. If they were to do this, they may soon see that a number of components are not in place.
They may find that they rarely feel good, are carrying a number of limiting beliefs, don’t believe that they are deserving of anything and find it hard to take action. In fact, they could be in a very bad way.
The life that they have is going to be anything but fulfilling. Due to what is going on, it is not going to be a surprise that they have such a strong need to change their life.
The trouble is that this is going to cause them to be strongly attached to what they want; something that will push away what it is that they want. Ultimately, they won’t be able to be what they desire, to resonate what it is that they want and this will stop them from being able to experience it.
A Deeper Look
What this can show is that their early years were deeply traumatic, with this being a time when they were abused and/or neglected on a regular basis. This would have meant that their developmental needs were rarely, if ever met, which would have stopped them from being able to grow and develop.
Consequently, this would have caused them to experience a lot of emotional pain, to develop a lot of limiting beliefs, prevented them from developing a felt sense of worth and deserving, and stopped them from developing a felt sense of safety and security. As an adult, they will be in a traumatised state and they will feel emotionally empty.
If one can relate to this, and they are ready to change their life, they may need to reach out for external support. This is something that can be provided with the assistance of a therapist or healer.
By working through their inner wounds and becoming more whole and complete, their resonance will change. Doing this work will allow them to get in touch with the gold that is within them and their external reality will gradually reflect this.
