The Media: Does The Mainstream Media Traumatise People?

No matter where in the world someone is or what time it is, the mainstream media will be there to inform them about what is taking place. This source of information will tell them about what is going on around them and that is going on further afield.

The main reason for this is that one no longer needs to watch TV, listen to the radio or read newspapers in order to stay update; the only thing that they need to do is to go online. So, providing they have a Smartphone, they will be fine.

A Different Experience

In a way, it will be as if one has their own newsreader that is there to tell them about what is going on around them. Of course, they won’t have someone on their phone who talks to them directly.

But what they will have is a practically endless amount of videos, articles, podcasts and live streams at their finger tips. And if they want to find out about anything in particular, they can simply use a search engine.

One Perspective

One way to look at all this would be to say that it is a good thing, as unlike their ancestors, they can stay up to date with what is going on it the world. How fortunate they are, then, with this being something that they would have missed out on if they were born in a different era.

By being up to date with what is going on, one may find that they feel more at ease. Due to what they learn each day, they will be able to give their mind the information that it needs to understand what is going on and to settle down.

Another Outlook

Nonetheless, even though one can believe that they are ‘informed’, it doesn’t mean that this is actually the case. When it comes to what one is aware of, it can simply relate to what this source wants them to be aware of.

Its other words, this source is not simply telling them about what is going on in the world; it is only telling them about certain things. Now, it could be said that this is to be expected as it can’t cover everything.

The Big Question

This is something that can’t be denied, but why is one thing given exposure and another thing completely overlooked? One reason that could be put forward is that not everything is important enough to be covered.

It is not as though this is something that can be denied, but then, who is it that decides whether or not something is important? Would it be right to say that important stories haven’t been overlooked over the years?

Conditioned

It might be more accurate to say that this source of information is not really there to inform people and that this is just the illusion that it has created over the years. One can then believe that they are ‘in the know’; when in reality, they can know very little about what is actually going on.

Sure, their mind can be full of information about what is going on, but what is in their head will be in alignment with the narrative that this source of information wants them to buy into. Making sure that one doesn’t realise this will be essential for them to continue to be lead down the garden path.

One Part

It wouldn’t be right to say that this source is merely there to deceive others, though, and this is something that can be observed by paying attention to what it generally gives exposure to. Regardless of what day it is or what time of the day that one pays attention to this source, there will be something negative for them to consume.

The argument that could be put forward here is that this is because bad things are happening in the world. Therefore, if this source didn’t do this it would be creating a very one dimensional view of the world.

One Step Back

Nonetheless, if this source exists to define how people see reality, it will be clear that it wants to control people. And if it does want to control people, making sure that their inner world is in total disarray is certainly going to help.

If someone’s mind is clear and their emotions are settled, it is going to be a lot easier for them to think clearly and to make good decisions. On the other hand, if this is not the case, it will most likely be a challenge for them to think clearly and to do things that will serve their highest good.

An Easy Target

Taking this into account, a big part of controlling someone will be to make sure that they are constantly exposed to things that will traumatise them. There will be no need for this source to focus on the big things all the time as the small things will do the job.

In fact, if this source focuses on smaller things, it can allow them to traumatize someone so slowly that they don’t even realise what is taking place. But while they won’t be aware of what is going on, their mind and body will suffer.

The Perfect Zombie

Once they are in this state, this source will be able to continue to administer their poison. Ones inner world will have been taken over by a pathogen and they will be like a sitting duck.

Clearly, someone like this is not going to be a threat to the establishment and in a position where they could help to create a different world. They will be in a bad way and they might look towards the system to save them.

Conclusion

There is no doubt that there is a difference between someone being informed and being loaded up with propaganda. Nevertheless, it will be important for one to think about how informed they want to be.

If being informed means being loaded up with fear and not being in a good way, it is not going to serve them. They will probably be able to do far more good for the world if they make sure that they are in a good way and allow their inner goodness to touch others.
